I’ve talked a lot about my favourite 2-player games, Fox in the Forest Duet is my go-to for a quick 2-player co-op game, and Agent Avenue has been such a new treatthis year. But the game that really opened my eyes to the joys of 2-player games was Star Realms. Both players are trying to lower the opponent’s reputation to 0, by playing a combination of spaceship and space station cards. Ships provide one-off effects, while stations stay in play until they’re destroyed. It’s such a lovely quick, simple little deckbuilder that makes a great entry point to the genre. Come check it out!
