It’s cottage season! Instead of just talking about one game, here are a bunch of games that are Colin Guaranteed (Not a real guarantee) to get people laughing, talking, having fun!
Giants Moving Tiny Furniture – A Great game to get up and moving! Move the tiny foam furniture to the other side of the room… Only using your pinkies! Absolute chaos, 10/10.
Dutch Blitz – Ooh this game stresses me out. But it’s a classic cottage game for my in-laws. Unrelated, I promise. It’s like solitaire, but everyone is playing at the same time and there are no turns and you can play on other people’s piles. Absolute chaos, 0/10.
Hues & Cues – The hottest new clue-giving game! try to get the other players to guess a colour on a huge grid of colours by giving one-word, then two-word clues. A really fun way to find out that you have colourblind friends.
The Fox in the Forest – My favourite 2-player game! Plays in 10-15 minutes and the cards fit in a pocket. It’s a trick-taking game, like euchre, but you don’t want to win all the tricks in a round! If either player wins 11 or more of the 13 hands, they get no points for the round. Great combination of bluffing and trick-taking, I love this game so much. There’s also a cooperative version!
