Board Game Feature – Summoner Wars
Card-based fantasy combat? Sign me up!
What if chess and a trading card game had a baby? That baby would be a miracle of science. But it also might look like Summoner Wars. This 2-player game has you playing cards from your hand, which then become monsters you can move around the battlefield. First one to eliminate the opponent wins! It’s strategic with enough randomness to keep it fresh. I love it!

It’s the perfect Valentine’s day date because you don’t need to plan anything in advance, just let your partner buy a book at the fair! You should probably plan some stuff in advance too though.
