You guys… we’re so close now.
The paint has dried, the kitchen equipment installation is being finalized as we type this, we’ve hired two managers that are drawing up policies and procedures, and we have a house full of boxes just waiting to be unpacked.
Our main issue right now is the same thing hitting every other business: supply chain problems.
Both our bookstore shelving and our tables and chairs for the cafe have been held up thanks to the trifecta: the climate change induced surge in wildfires, the pandemic, and the frailty of our transportation infrastructure (where a single ship can foul up global trade for months).
Rest assured that we’re as impatient as you are to open our doors. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve done with the place!
