Board Game Feature – Ticket to Ride: First Journey
Welcome to our new series, “games you can play with your kids that aren’t terrible.” Over the next month or so, I’ll be highlighting a game that I’ve personally played with a 5-year-old without being bored out of my skull!
First up: Ticket to Ride: First Journey. It’s exactly what it sounds like, a scaled down, simplified version of Ticket to Ride. It’s great for teaching kids planning ahead and pivoting around a run of bad luck, but it’s also luck-based enough that they can be a part of the whole game. I’ve had a really good time with this, highly recommend!
