Mexican train dominoes are played in a pretty simplistic way. There’s anywhere from 2-8 players with the Mexican train in the middle. The highest number domino is placed in the middle of the train station and the game starts from there. You match up one side of the domino to another and the goal is to get rid of all your dominos. Once someone has no dominos left everyone else adds up the numbers on their dominos and that’s their score. The person with the lowest score at the end of the game is the winner.
Mexican train dominoes is a great game to play when you’re unsure of how long you want to play and want something simple to work through. I personally loved that if I wanted a one round game it’s just as fun as if I were to play hours on end. With the rules being as simple as they are I can play with a variety of people and everyone still experiences the same game as me. The setup is another bonus because it’s quick and easy. It’s a simple disk and some trains to place and the clean up is just as fast. It’s a great game for family game night with a variety of ages and definitely has great replayability.
